Jasmine (Japanese: ミカン Mikan) is the Gym Leader of Olivine City's Gym, known officially as the Olivine Gym. Her specialty is Steel-type Pokémon, and she gives the Mineral Badge to Trainers who defeat her in battle. She also appears in Sinnoh to give Trainers HM07 and to compete in Sinnoh's Super Contests.

Not so big of a scene but, um, there are little bands that pop up now and then. Hearthome’s got a huge family image, so there isn’t such a strong, er…presence of alcohol. But this little bar has live music almost every night, it should be a treat, I think.

Yes, haha, u-usually, but you’d be surprised… Olivine’s not really known for it’s nightlife, you could say, but… we handle our liquor really well. Erm, uh not “we”, I guess, since I’m a lightweight!
[After a brief moment of hesitation she takes a seat in a booth near the stage. A waitress appears, asks the two for their order, and disappears shortly afterward. Jasmine adjusts the hem of her dress, nodding her head to the beat.]

Oh, that sounds very intriguing. Does… D-does Hearthome have a big music scene, or something? I don’t think there’s anything like that where I’m from, haha. There’s karaoke night at the cafe, I suppose, but um, everyone’s always drunk!

It’s r-really wonderful spending time with Bebe, but to be honest, I miss Olivine a lot. The people and the ocean, mostly… I’m so glad we have technology so I can see all of my Pokemon, though, because otherwise I’d be so homesick…
Despite how little sleep I’ve been getting, I’ve been in such a better mood! I don’t remember the l-last time I felt this good, hehe. Although the city’s not really my pace, Hearthome’s wonderful. I really love Amity Square, all the fountains, and especially the temple.
I think I ought to go shopping later… Whitney would definitely get upset if she saw how I wasn’t taking advantage of all the sales this weekend! I’ll have to find her something nice.

First contest out of the way! I-I think… I can say fairly confidently that Steelix blew everyone out of the water! It was an entry-level contest, but a victory’s a victory… We’re going to take the next one head on, hehe.
Haha, sounds like someone was hungry. Tell me if you need me to pick up anything else. And we’re really playing twister? I’ll have to see if I still have that old thing! I might… If not I might just pick up a new one. No harm in having that game around with everyone’s enthusiasm for it!

I feel like I’ve been pretty thoroughly anti-social lately. I’ve been doing a lot of research, teaching, and training lately and haven’t really found the time to do much else. Haha, actually trying to stay on top of things is hard work! It’s fulfilling at least.
Anyway, I’m going to go ahead and do something social, and have a birthday party for Falkner. I think it’d be good for a bunch of us to get together again, right? It’ll be this Sunday. Hopefully that’s cool with everyone?

I’m still a little jetlagged from the travel… I woke up around noon today. It’s definitely strange; I haven’t slept in so late since my high school days… But u-uhm, Bebe’s always up pretty late herself, so she didn’t wake up until after me. So, we just had a very, very late brunch.
I’m still trying to arrange Neil’s moveset for the Contest next weekend. Sandstorm and Ice Fang, m-maybe… Dig and Rock Throw?
… Y-yeah… We’ll figure it out. Now back to practicing!
